Dr Tanaya Narendra, also known as Dr Cuterus, is an Indian sexual health educator, author, medical doctor, embryologist, and scientist. In 2022, Tanaya received the Health Influencer of the Year award from the IHW Council, supported by NITI Aayog and Ayushman Bharat, in recognition of her contributions to public health.

Narendra was born to fertility doctors, who exposed her to conversations about sexual health from an early age.
She obtained her M.B.B.S. degree from Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut.
After that, she moved to the UK and pursued a Master’s in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford.
She subsequently registered as a doctor in England and committed to making public medical education her life goal.
In 2020, she started her Instagram account called Dr. Cuterus” to address the misinformation surrounding sexual health on the internet.
She authored a book titled Dr. Cuterus- Everything Nobody Tells You About Your Body” which was published in December 2022.
Tanaya has been honoured with various awards in India and globally, including the Delhi Commission for Women, Elle Magazine, and the Noble Citizen Foundation.
