Dr Joseph Nemeth graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
After that, he completed two years of postgraduate training in Periodontics at New York University.
Dr Joseph has been an Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry & Chairman of Periodontics at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
He is also the Founding Member and President of the North American Society of Periodontists.
Dr Joseph Nemeth was the first periodontist in Michigan to use dental lasers for treating periodontal disease (LANAP procedure).
He is also the first in Michigan to be certified in the advanced Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession.
He was an early adopter of digital impressions (Trios3), 3D imaging (i-Cat Cone Beam), and 3D printing for surgical guides and models.
