Dr. Sandy Skotnicki is a board-certified dermatologist, and cosmetologist based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is the founder of Bay Dermatology Centre, which offers state-of-the-art treatments and cutting-edge skincare solutions. She is a Canadian and American board-certified dermatologist with cosmetic and medical interests.
Education
Dr. Skotnicki did her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and immunology from the University of Toronto and then earned her medical degree, graduating with the highest honors.
She completed her dermatology training at the University of Ottawa and was awarded her fellowship in Dermatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1997.
She is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Medicine in the Divisions of Dermatology and Occupational and Environmental Health.

She is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, Canadian Dermatology Association, American Dermatology Association, and American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Dr. Skotnicki uses her unique skill set to be a healthcare advocate and a credible source of knowledge to the public on a variety of dermatological issues.
She has also been a Board member of the Canadian Dermatology Association and served as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in the specialty of Dermatology from 2011-2016.
Dr. Skotnicki is a consultant Dermatologist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and is an expert in Allergic Skin Disease.
She is also a member of the Centre for Research Expertise in Occupational Disease and has published numerous articles on different aspects of Allergic Skin Disease.
Dr. Skotnicki has been featured on the Netflix-Vox documentary series ”Explained” in season 3 episode 7 where she explained about skincare.
